Henley Regatta Hospitality

Henley Regatta was first held in 1839 and apart from during the two World Wars, has been held annually ever since.  Originally staged by the Mayor and people of Henley as a public attraction with a fair and other amusements, the emphasis rapidly changed so that competitive rowing became its main purpose.

The 1839 Regatta took place on a single afternoon but proved so popular with the oarsmen that the racing was extended in 1840 so that it lasted for two days. In 1986 The Henley Regatta was extended even further to its current form which last for five days!

There are two Hospitality facilites to choose from at The Henley Regatta – Fawley Meadows and Temple Island.  Fawley Meadows offers exceptional hospitality for two guests upwards, whereas Temple Island allows you to entertain up to 40 guests exclusively on your own private island!
