Let’s Get Down to Brass Tacks, The Pitch really is the business. You and your team are tasked with creating a business pitch that even Lord Sugar couldn’t refuse!
Working in teams and using your own smartphones, you and your fellow associates must put your heads together to create, market and pitch the perfect product. We’ll put you to the test with 3 stages packed with challenges, photo and video tasks and bonus activities. Earn points as you go and try to reach the top of that all-important scoreboard!
In an exciting finale, the top scoring teams will have their filmed video pitches shown to their peers. It’s then all down to numbers as all players cast their votes for their favourite product! Who will take the winning strategy and deliver the ultimate pitch?
The aim of the game!
One of our Remote Facilitators will kickstart your event with an engaging virtual briefing, telling you everything you need to know about your upcoming business challenge. Once they’ve allocated your teams (consisting of 4-6 players), it’s time to get your thinking caps on and your creative juices flowing!
You and your business associates must first quickly identify each other’s strengths and weaknesses and assign team roles (be sure to choose carefully!) Using your smartphone devices, you must then progress through 3 exciting stages packed full of creative challenges as well as photo and video tasks!
As the clock ticks down, you’ll be tested on your strategy as you conquer a range of business objectives in a logical order. Your aim? Put together the most effective pitch for your product and score as many points as possible in order to be in with a chance of winning in the final vote! Keep an eye out – bonus business challenges are available throughout for extra points!
The winning team will need a high score and the ultimate video pitch to impress the group. Once the votes are counted, our Remote Facilitator will deliver an exciting wrap-up and reveal the winners!
How is this activity run?
This activity is one of our Remote Hosted events and will be run from start to finish by one of our experienced remote facilitators via video link (Zoom is our preference but we can use other platforms too).
For this event, we will have one event host/facilitator for every 50 participants. They will remain on your call for the duration of the event to make sure everything runs smoothly and answer any questions participants may have.
This activity can be run as a virtual, face to face or hybrid event, depending on your preference.
Virtual – Running this team building activity virtually, all participants can dial into the Zoom call from wherever they are, whether it’s at home or in the office, in the UK or abroad. Your dedicated event facilitator will welcome guests, deliver your event briefing remotely, split the group into teams, and run your event from start to finish. At the end of the activity, your facilitator will announce the results and ‘wrap up’.
Hybrid – With some physical ‘in person’ teams taking part from the office or a venue, and some ‘virtual’ teams dialling in from home or elsewhere, the hybrid solution is a great way to get everyone involved in your event, even if they can’t be there in the flesh. Just like the virtual option, your event facilitator will brief everyone via video link, arrange the teams, and run everything from start to finish.
Face to Face – The face to face option allows everyone to enjoy a fun and engaging team building activity, ‘face to face’ with their colleagues rather than via Zoom. Your event facilitator will still deliver a high energy remote briefing and results session via video link, manage the teams, and be available throughout your activity to ensure everything runs smoothly.
